Farming NPC's and Players

Farming is an essential part of day to day business on Godfather, whether you are farming players or NPC's it is something you will be doing regularly.

There are many places in which you can find resources, these include but are not limited to:

Gangs Lvl 1 - 10
Murder Inc Lvl 1 - 4
Players

Each level gang or murder inc will offer a different amount of resources ( for more information on this visit the thread about Murder Inc or Gangs ), The higher the level the more resources it will grant you. For example, 12 hits on a Murder Inc Lvl 3 will give you 12 * 15 Mill Cash, 12 * 5 Mill everything else. ( 180 Mill Cash, 60 Mill everything else )
Where as a Gang Lvl 10 will give you around 12 Mill Cash and a few Mill of everything else. Much less than a Murder Inc.

Farming can be done in many ways, some players only farm what they need when they need it. Others spend a couple of days farming heavily and stock up for a few days and others farm everyday to keep their resources steady.

When hitting you need to make sure you have enough transport units to carry the maximum amount of resources acquirable. Murder Inc 3 requires 140 Freight Trains.
Next you need to make sure you send enough units to kill the defending units. As always, the higher the level the greater the losses and the harder it is to beat. The march you send depends on your march size, boosts, bail ratio and units available to you. Each one of these criteria brings you closer to a lossless march for farming. Once you manage to perfect a wave for your preferred farming location you can send it as many times as you want and hoard the resources.

IF you decide that NPC's are not lucrative enough for you, you may decide to farm players. This is a much harder scenario and is further explained in the PvP thread.

Farming For Bonds -

Something all players will do during their time in the game ( unless you intend to spend 1000's upon 1000's of dimes ) is farm for bonds. Bonds allow you to earn other hoods or expansions. Once you get 100 bonds you unlock the respective hood or expansion.

The problem with bonds is there is no way to tell whether you will get one from a hit or not. There are in depth studies available into drop rates of bonds but I won't go into those.

Bonds can be dropped from any Murder Inc. It is also widely debated as to with level Murder Inc has the best drop rate. Players usually farm for bonds from the level of Murder Inc they use to farm resources!
